Positive: The host was very available and helpful with all kind of stuff, from giving me tips on where to go and what to do, to making sure I had everything I needed. The scenery was lovely, with green hills and blue sea in the background. The apartment (il Pergolato, there are a couple of others) was cozy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen & living room, a spacious bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. The best part was the wonderful porch, where one could stay and work. You can see the sea from that porch, too. It was very relaxing and peaceful.
Negative: Not really negatives but just things to know before booking this place: The street is hilly, so it might be challenging for some people to walk up and down. There are also dogs roaming around on the streets, which might be a problem for some people who are afraid of them or allergic to them. You really need a car to go almost anywhere. The nearest supermarket is about 20 minutes walking distance. The distance to the sea itself is about 10 minutes downhill, but to get to the beach you'd rather drive, as it is more complicated to walk there.
Summary: A peaceful and cozy retreat in a beautiful location, with a friendly host and a wonderful porch.
